QA Requirements - Automation System Definition, Boundary, and Risk Assessment

The BSUBAS BAS Subject Matter Expert (SME) takes provides review and analysis;

• Automation Systems are reviewed to ensure there are clear System Definitions, System Boundaries and System Risk Assessments in place. Any concerns are identified for corrective action.
• Automation System definitions are compared to Mechanical System definitions and Architectural Zone definitions to confirm alignment of boundaries and functions. Any variances are identified for corrective action.
• Systems are sorted into Impact, Non-Impact and Connected. Connected systems where a non-impact system interacted with an impact system are reviewed to ensure a defensible reasoning is in place allowing system interaction. Any concerns or gaps are identified for corrective action.
